Flowers
Small minute wild flowers.
Hate seeing flowers in a bouquet & I don't like roses.
All photos shot using Nikon and Canon DSLRs with various macro lenses of 55mm, 90mm and 100mm. Some shots have been taken with a Raynox added in front of the macro lens or with the lens mounted on extension tubes. The slightly soft dreamy looking ones are shot with a Lensbaby composer with double glass optic.
Songs of a Cosmos
I love the colour of these flowers - they used to grow wild in the garden in Panchgani and along highways on the way there.
Searching for them these days brings to mind lyrics from an old song - "Where have all the flowers gone?"
I don't usually shoot flowers with a top-down view as that's how the rest of the world sees them but this was one exception and the Lensbaby Composer with double glass optic on the D700 gave it a nice soft magical look.
