Landscapes
Then you get back home and realise that the photo isn't all that great...so you go back and try again :)
I've shot most of these photographs with Ultra wide angle lenses like the Sigma 10-20 & Canon 10-18 on Dx cameras and Sigma 15-30, Nikon 18mm & Nikon 20mm on Fx. For a few photos I've used slightly longer lenses like the 28mm, 50mm and 90mm.
Most of the photos have been shot using GNDs, ND and CPL filters.
“Landscape photography is the supreme test of the photographer – and often the supreme disappointment.” – Ansel Adams.
Over The Top
I was told it would be an early morning photo "walk"....it ended up as a long trek for which I was completely unprepared. No water, heavy rucksack with lots of lenses and sports shoes. Was lucky enough to have a monopod which doubled up as a walking stick to keep the old bones intact. The view from the top was worth the climb though....The 18mm makes the world look really nice on a full frame.
