Landscapes
Then you get back home and realise that the photo isn't all that great...so you go back and try again :)
I've shot most of these photographs with Ultra wide angle lenses like the Sigma 10-20 & Canon 10-18 on Dx cameras and Sigma 15-30, Nikon 18mm & Nikon 20mm on Fx. For a few photos I've used slightly longer lenses like the 28mm, 50mm and 90mm.
Most of the photos have been shot using GNDs, ND and CPL filters.
“Landscape photography is the supreme test of the photographer – and often the supreme disappointment.” – Ansel Adams.
Lucky Star
You must be my lucky star.....had to wait for sometime with the song playing in my head to get the star burst just where I wanted it to be.
Stopped shooting a few minutes before the storm hit me when I saw some locals trying to catch / kill a snake around 10 meters away from where I was sitting sitting on this rocky hill some distance away from the airforce station...walked up to them and and forced them to let the nice big long snake go.
Local boys - sir snakes will bite you and you'll die..snakes are not good...
Me - yeah... rite, and humans are?
