Polaroids II
There was a time when "square" images were considered normal...For a lot of people square photos would mean Instagram rather than Mamiya / Rolleiflex / Hasselblad or Diana / Holga...
From the 1950s to the early 80s, Kodak had America convinced that snapshots should be square - It came out with a series of square-format Star series cameras, and in 1963 the square-shooting Kodak Instamatic began its formidable reign. Square-format snapshots died out during the 80's along with a lot of other good stuff....
I like shooting these sort of square images and make them look like Polaroids...Composing in the square format has a certain charm to it... you need to think a lot before you press the shutter.....its not easy..but then neither is life:)
