Landscapes
Shooting landscapes is like an endless game of wait and watch - you choose your spot and then wait..for that perfect moment ..that perfect light...and then when its all in place..you finally press the shutter. Then you get back home and realise that the photo isn't all that great...so you go back and try again :)

Over The Top
I was told it would be an early morning photo "walk"....it ended up as a long trek for which I was completely unprepared. No water, heavy rucksack with lots of lenses and sports shoes. Was lucky enough to have a monopod which doubled up as a walking stick to keep the old bones intact. The view from the top was worth the climb though....The 18mm makes the world look really nice on a full frame.
